Board Highlights, May 10

Updated Board of Education Policy Manual:
The Board approved an updated policy manual that provides details that guide ‘behind the scenes’ work in schools and departments. Trustees reviewed and updated each policy during the two-year process, and the updated manual will take effect on August 1st to be in place for the start of the 2017-2018 school year. Although highly detailed, the modifications will not lead to significant changes in the day-to-day operations at schools.
