Personnel Committee To review annually the organizational structure of the Central Office Staff as described in the Organizational Chart. To recommend to the Board an evaluation procedure for evaluation of the performance of the Superintendent. To oversee and coordinate the hiring process of the Superintendency staff. To review and negotiate the contracts of Central Office Senior administration. To review the recommendation of the administration regarding salary grids of those employees not covered by the Collective Agreement. |

Student Appeal Committee To hear an appeal under Section 123 of the School Act where a decision of an employee of a Board significantly affects the education of a student. To hear representations relative to the recommendation from such board employee s/agents as deemed appropriate. To provide an opportunity for the student and/or parents to make representation. To inform the Board of the action taken by the Committee. |

Teachers Matter To communicate with the Board of Education on matters of policy formation and execution. To facilitate communication and discussion between the Board of Education and teachers. To filter, focus and clarify issues; to redirect for further discussion. *Teacher members should be rotated to ensure there are always both experienced and new members, no school shall supply more than 1 teacher representative. |
